“When I’m painting, I am looking to create a certain vibe. To capture a visual energy that feels joyful but also has an edge, a certain imperfection to it. I’m inspired by organic shapes in nature, patterns, and unique colour combinations that pop. I attempt to find a way to mix these elements in a surprising way. Art making is freedom to me and I approach each piece with play and experimentation.”

After completing her B.A. in Visual Arts from The University of Western Ontario, Kaitlin obtained her art teaching degree from the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia.
